Summer of 2025 at Idyllwild Arts I had the opportunity to sit in class and learn Navajo stone inlay. We all followed the same template of the bangle shape but then designed both the ornamental and the stone side of the bangle. on the left I have a overlay piece with fused silver powder on top. To the right I used flower agate, all one slab of a stone cut where the natural pattern interested me the most. I like that I kept the stone natural pattern flowing along the side in a continuous way.
